    Saint Paul Public Schools CDF Freedom Schools is a free, six-week summer program for scholars currently in grades K-8.

    Participation in Freedom Schools provides enriching group activities including field trips, culturally affirming materials, a well-trained and caring staff, and parent involvement, with an emphasis on literacy, math, leadership development and college and career readiness.

    Saint Paul Public Schools’ Freedom School programs are provided in collaboration with many individual, public and private partners.


    DETAILS

    • Program Date/Time: June 15 - July 24, 2020; 8:00am-3:15pm
    • Program Location: Capitol Hill Gifted & Talented Magnet; Hazel Park Preparatory Academy. (Location assigned based on address)
    • Transportation, breakfast, and lunch are provided.
    • Free Summer Blast Drop-in activities and dinner at nearby Parks and Rec Centers after dismissal on Mondays-Thursdays.
    • Choose one Mandatory Parent Orientation from the list below:
      • May 21, 2020 from 5:30-7:30pm at 360 Colborne St, 55102. Child care is provided.
      • May 28, 2020 from 5:30-7:30pm at 360 Colborne St, 55102. Child care is provided.
      • June 16, 2020 from 5:00-7:00pm at Capitol Hill, 560 Concordia Ave, 55103. Child care and dinner are provided.
      • June 18, 2020 from 5:00-7:00pm at Hazel Park Preparatory Academy, 1140 White Bear Ave, 55106. Child care and dinner are provided.
