SPPS Support Group Leaders and GSA Advisors have access to additional resources: Schoology group, Google Drive resources, and targeted professional development. Please contact us if you are interested in starting/leading a support group and/or GSA at your site.
We have several trainings available for staff, but we are also open to working with individual staff, departments, and/or school sites to provide tailored trainings, coaching and consulting, and other forms of support.

Supporting LGBTQ+ Children and Youth Event

Audience: Educators, Community/Family Members, and Youth.
Content: Range from vocabulary to advocacy, transition to adulthood, and advocating for LGBTQ+ children in classrooms.

Multicultural Resource Center
The MRC is a resource available to all SPPS staff. It has an extensive collection of professional resources, literature, films, cultural artifacts, and learning trunks. Staff are also available to assist in finding and putting together materials as well as offering suggestions for their use for professional development and in the classroom.
