Column: Our Students Want to Be Seen

  • Earlier this month I was honored to attend the annual conference of the Association of Metropolitan School Districts (AMSD), a Twin Cities-based organization that strives “to identify the needs of metropolitan school districts and seek meaningful policy changes to help districts meet those needs.” Ours is one of 41 K-12 school districts, six intermediate/educational cooperative districts, and three integration districts from across the metropolitan area in AMSD.
