Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Jane Johnson

Hi! My name is Jane Johnson. This is my third year at Frost Lake Elementary. I have worked in the MLL Department for St. Paul Public Schools for 20 years. I received my bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Communications from Concordia College in Moorhead. Then, I moved to Mexico City and taught English at I.M.N.R.C. I eventually went back to school to get my ELL teaching license from Hamline University in St. Paul.

Outside of school, I love to be in nature. I like biking, hiking, and kayaking in and along the Mississippi River. Music is also an interest of mine. I also love to sing, dance and play the drums by myself but also with my family and with a band.

My home is in Inver Grove Heights and I have three children. My husband Bogar works for the MLL department in St. Paul, as well.

I look forward to working with the MLL students at Frost Lake this year, differentiating instruction and giving support to students so they can learn language and feel a part of our learning community.
