     Class objectives

This class is designed to raise your comfort level and effectiveness with oral presentations and public speaking. We will work on crafting well-thought-out speeches: coming up with clever ideas, researching, organizing, preparing, and practicing. We will also talk about how to deliver a speech effectively and how to deal with stage fright.

We will follow the St. Paul Public Schools district wide sequence of the newly revised Minnesota State Standards. For more information please access: http://education.state.mn.us/MDE/index.html
