Boozhoo! (Hello) I have worked with the Indian Education Program since 2011. I received my undergraduate degree in Sociology/Criminal Justice from Hamline University and completed a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. I work with students in grades K-12.
I enjoy playing and watching sports. I grew up playing basketball, volleyball and fastpitch softball and continue to play when I can. I also help coach basketball for my kids.
I am an enrolled member of Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe and live in the Twin Cities area. I spend a majority of the time running my two boys to and from sporting activities and keeping them entertained. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family.
I always knew I wanted to help others and now I get to do this daily. My goal is to work together to improve academic success, school attendance and social emotional functioning of American Indian students. Please feel free to call or email if you have any questions about services and how I can help provide support.
