Degrees and Certifications:
Elizabeth began working as the Clerk for the SPPS Indian Education program in September 2019. She has worked with the SPPS Indian Education in the past as an Intern during her Senior year at Johnson High School, and as an Elementary Tutor & Classroom Assistant. She has been involved with Indian Education for many years, participating as a student in the Indian Education Programs in the Anoka-Hennepin and St. Paul school districts, and establishing the Augsburg Fairview Academy Indian Education Program in 2013. In 2013 she founded the Native American College Fair, an annual event that brings schools and programs to hundreds of Native youth from throughout Minnesota. In addition to Augsburg Fairview Academy, she has also worked at Four Directions Charter School, Hiawatha Collegiate High School, RiverEast School, and a local non-profit that provides therapy services.
When not working Elizabeth pursues self-education through reading, and attending educational events, such as conferences and lectures. She also enjoys solo travelling, having been to Czech Republic, Finland, Hungary, and Italy, she is looking forward to visiting more countries in the future.
