Mr. Morris brings a wealth of experience in helping all students feel represented and accepted for who they are. He has served students as a classroom teacher, coach, assistant principal, and most recently, as the principal for Benjamin E. Mays IB World School.

Mr. Morris understands the importance of collaborating with staff and families and embracing the unique gifts that each student brings. He is an inclusive leader who values communication and works hard to build relationships to create a positive school culture. He plans to provide a clear vision for Como Park Senior that honors the school’s past, while looking to the future.

Throughout his career, Mr. Morris has worked hard to provide access and opportunity for all students, and believes every student has the ability to reach their full potential if they are given the support they need. He looks forward to partnering with families, students, staff and the community to continue the great work at Como Park Senior High School.

Mr. Morris has excellent academic qualifications with a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from Mississippi Valley State University, a Master of Arts in teaching and learning from St. Thomas University, a Principal License from St. Mary’s University, a Minnesota Superintendent License from Minnesota State University Mankato and is a Doctorate candidate in educational leadership from Minnesota State University Mankato.
