Jessica Kopp joined the Saint Paul School Board in January 2020. A 25+ year resident of Saint Paul, she lives in the Midway neighborhood with her husband, Kevin, and their daughter, a Saint Paul Public Schools student. Jessica holds a BA in English from the University of Minnesota and a MA in Secondary Education from the University of St. Thomas.  

    With experience as a middle and high school English teacher, coach, mentor, tutor, and recreation leader, Jessica currently works as a project manager in the school of education of a local university and co-organizes a weekly, volunteer-run, pop-up mutual aid site in her neighborhood. As a school board member, she is committed to working with her colleagues to develop good governance practices that make positive outcomes a reality for every SPPS student.  

    In her free time, Jessica enjoys watching soccer, listening to music, watching movies, reading, and traveling.
