When you Sing, Read, Talk, Write, and Play with children daily, you support their development as they grow. Children who Sing, Read, Talk, Write, and Play daily develop their large and small motor skills, increase their vocabulary, rhyming, listening skills, and autonomy; grow their ability to follow directions and ask questions, express emotions, create and follow a plan, use their imagination, and develop empathy for those around them, and so much more. During the COVID-19 crisis these actions also provide stress relief and aid in shared family experiences that are authentic to our ways of being and fit into our normal routine.
