My name is Damitrius Coleman and I am a 2nd Grade Teacher at Benjamin E. Mays IB World School. I started off as a Co-Teacher at Benjamin E. Mays in 2019. I received my Bachelors Degree from Bethune-Cookman University. I later retained my Master's Degree in Education from the University of Saint Thomas in Saint Paul, Minnesota. 

My inspiration to become a teacher came first from my love of coaching where I realized that coaching is a form of teaching. I realized that I was in a position to create change within my community.
