2022 - HealthPartners CHOICES Coverage & Plan Designs

  • Medical insurance coverage is available to benefit-eligible employees working at least 20 hours per week.  CHOICES is the set of health insurance coverage plans offered through HealthPartners for the following Bargaining Units:

    AFSCME, Association of Supervisory and Supervisory Personnel (ASAP), Bus Drivers, Classified Confidential, Custodians, Machinists, Manual Maintenance, Nutrition Services, PEA, Principals, Superintendency, and Supervisors (SPSO)

    The current medical insurance carrier for the above unions is HealthPartners.  Benefit eligible employees can enroll into coverages within 30 days of their hire date, during Active Enrollment or within 30 days of a qualifying status change.  Levels of coverage include employee only, employee plus one dependent, and family coverage.      CoPay Medical Plan

     You pay the most premium for the convenience of lower fixed costs when you get medical care


  • HRA

     HRA Medical Plan

     The HRA Plans combines HealthPartners medical coverage with a reimbursement account you can use to pay for your qualifying out-of-pocket medical expenses.

  • HSA

      HSA Medical Plan

     The HSA Plan combines HealthPartners medical coverage with  an optional self-funded, pre-tax savings/investment account through Optum Bank you can use to pay for your qualifying out-of-pocket health care expenses.
