Ms. E

My name is Ellen M. Perrault. Students call me Ms. E. I am so excited to work with students who are developing their English reading, writing and speaking skills.

In addition to being a teacher, I've worked in the field of communication for more than 30 years. I did short stints in TV and radio and as a newspaper reporter before working at the Minnesota State Capitol for more than a decade, in communication for non-profits, and as a communication specialist for the Anoka-Hennepin School District, where I learned about the numerous opportunities available to educators. I continue to work as a writer, researcher and photographer, and I love sharing my experience with my students. I have a bachelor of arts (B.A.) in communication from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth and a Master's Art (M.A.) in communication from the University of Wiscons-Superior. I did my coursework for my teaching license at Hamline University and plan to finish my Masters of Art in Teacher (MAT) this year.

I am committed to working with the Frost Lake team, students and their families to ensure students thrive in our learning community.
