How to Register for Summer Learning Programs

  • Families should register students by Friday, April 16, for the best opportunity to get into their first-choice program and to ensure transportation is available on the first day of programming.

Your student’s current grade level during the 2020-21 school year will be the grade level assigned during Summer Learning Programs.

    • For example, if your student is currently in kindergarten, they may participate in a K-4 Summer Learning Program.
    • If your student is entering kindergarten in fall 2021, they are not eligible to attend a K-4 Summer Learning Program.

    Current K-8 SPPS Students
Families can choose only ONE Summer Learning Program. Consider programs that interest your student. Transportation is available to most students who live in Saint Paul (within transportation guidelines). Use School Finder at spps.org/apply to find your Area (A-F1/F2).

Register online: Families should use their OneStop Username and Password to log in to Campus Parent. Once logged in, select “Summer Registration (K-8).” To retrieve or reset your password, visit spps.org/onestop.

Applications can also be printed and returned by mail or in-person to:
    Summer Registration
Student Placement Center, Saint Paul Public Schools
    2102 University Ave. W.
    Saint Paul, MN 55114

If you register online, you do not need to fill out a paper application.

    Current 9-12 SPPS Students
Students in grades 9-12  work with their school counselors to register and may attend more than one Summer Session.

    Non-SPPS Students (all grades)

    • Non-SPPS students in grades K-12: Download, complete and return an application by mail or in-person to: Summer Registration, Student Placement Center, Saint Paul Public Schools, 2102 University Ave. W., Saint Paul, MN 55114.
    • A registration form must be submitted for each student attending.
    • Non-SPPS students in grades 9-12: Students must have their school counselor verify courses and sign the paper registration form.

    Wait Lists
Summer Learning Programs in this guide fill quickly. If we receive more registrations than available seats, students will be placed on a wait list. Families will be offered an available program registration if their first choice is full.

    Notification
Families that register by the April 16 priority deadline will receive a postcard confirming enrollment in late April. All families that register will receive a postcard with transportation and site information approximately two weeks before the start of the Summer Learning Program.
