Flipside is expanding to all Middle Schools at Saint Paul Public Schools! We are currently recruiting passionate youth workers for several positions!
Consider joining our creative, innovative team at Saint Paul Public Schools, where we provide cutting edge youth development work with young people in an urban environment. Flipside Afterschool is a program dedicated to high quality programming with and for young people between the ages of 10-14. Programming supports the development of 21st Century skills, social emotional and academic skills to succeed in school and life. We have both 10-month (summers off) and 12-month (year round) positions available.

Afterschool Site Coordinator (10-month)
As a 10-month (summers off), Community Learning Center Site Coordinator for Flipside, you will plan, promote and implement a menu of afterschool activities M-Th in collaboration with middle school age youth, families, school staff and community partners.

Afterschool Site Coordinator (12-month)
As a Community Learning Center Site Coordinator for Flipside, you will plan, promote and implement a menu of afterschool activities M-Th in collaboration with middle school age youth, families, school staff and community partners. In addition you would be responsible for planning and implementing summer programs.

As a Program Assistant for the Flipside, you will coordinate internal and external communication with key stakeholders including print, digital and social media platforms, plan and implement college and career exploration field trips when school is not in session and support our work on implementing high quality, youth centered afterschool programs. This is a 12-month, year-around position.

Salary and benefits for all positions will be consistent with those provided by the School and Community Service Professional Bargaining Unit of the Saint Paul Federation of Teachers. The labor agreement and salary schedule can be found at http://hr.spps.org/Labor_Agreements.html. Please note the salary schedule is 10-month Schedule 2. It is listed incorrectly in schedule 1. Benefits are available to new employees after 30 days of active employment. Benefits include medical insurance, life insurance, sick leave, vacation time, pension plan, tax-free retirement account.
