    Announcements for Friday, May 24, 2019

    Fall sports registration is available in the Athletic Office.  If you are playing a fall sport sign-up now. 

    Tickets are on sale for the all-night grad party. They are $25. You can buy them online or in the main office. There is a link on the senior class page on the school website.

    You can also buy them during lunch in the cafeteria on May 30th or in person on May 28 at Senior honors night.

    Don't wait until graduation day! The price at the door will be $45. See you at the party of the year! 

    iPad Hand-in will be during your math class May 28, 29 or 30.

    Remember to:

    • Update our iPad
    • Charge your iPad
    • Bring your iPad, case and keyboard, and your charger and cord
    • Backup your files to your Google Drive

    Also, this is a great time to hand in all books to the library!

    The 2019-20 Link Crew leaders will be posted on Friday at 2:00 outside the counseling office and the auditorium. Everyone who auditioned was so impressive and whether you made it or not, know Highland has incredible leaders all around.

    Did you sign up for IB Visual Art next year? Did you miss the field trip to the “M”? Stop by room 150 or 2401 to get the summer assignment from Dr. Schultz or Ms. Shomion.

    Girls’ Tennis Meeting for those students interested in playing Fall 2019 is next Wednesday, May 29th at 2:15 in Coach Shaw’s room 2209. If unable to attend, stop by 2209 or email michael.shaw@spps.org or check HP Girls’ tennis homepage for more information.

    PRIZM magazine is here - hot off the press! Get yours at lunch or at the office. They are $5.00 and feature the work of HPSH students. Get your today!

    End of the Year Archery party will be held on Thursday, May 30 at 2:15 in Room 3308.

    Cheerleading tryouts will take place Monday, June 3rd and Wednesday, June 5th from 2:30-4pm in the fieldhouse gym. Fall Performance Dance tryouts will be right after from 4-5pm.

    Come to the Highland Park dance team meeting on Thursday, May 23rd. It’s at 3:00 in the dance room. Learn about the upcoming fall season and summer boot camp. Boys are also welcome to join the team. 

    Are you going to Tanzania summer of 2020? Make sure to make your deposit online by May 23rd to hold your spot! See McGraw for more info.

    Congratulations to the girls’ badminton team for their 5th place finish at the state tournament last week. Way to go girls!!

    There will be no GSA meeting today.  Please join the Gender-Sexuality Alliance for our end-of-the-year party next Wednesday at 2:00 in room 2208.
