ALL JUNIORS: ACT AT CENTRAL ON FEBRUARY 27
Our department encourages juniors to take the ACT in the spring of the junior year. On February 27th during the school day all SPPS juniors will have the opportunity to take the ACT. During the fall-winter we suggest that students start prepping for the ACT.
FREE ACT PREP delivered by PRINCETON REVIEW
SaintPaul Public Schools has purchased limited spots for students to take an ACT Prep course from Princeton Review. The Princeton Review is a leading provider in ACT preparation courses, and students who take the course gain an average of 3-5 points on the ACT. Students have the option of registering for a 18 hour class, and must be committed to attend all sessions.
The 18 hour courses meet at Central HS. To register - www.spps.org/actprep and be sure to be in your stpaul.k12.mn.us account to register with Google form.
Other excellent resources for students tostudy and prepare for the ACT Test:
- Study guide workbooks at your local library or bookstore
- Private tutoring organizations – which usually charge a fee for their classes.
In the past Saint Paul Public Schools offered juniors the opportunity participate in an ACT TEST Prep Class in the spring before the test. There is no cost to students for this optional class.
