SPPS Parent Advisory Councils (PACs)

Saint Paul Public Schools partners with Parent Advisory Councils (PACs) to ensure families and community members have a voice in district decision‑making. Each PAC represents and advocates for specific student and family communities across SPPS. 

American Indian Parent Advisory Council (AIPAC)
Serves American Indian students and families by advising the district on programs, services, and culturally responsive education.

Gender and Sexual Diversity Parent Advisory Council (GSDPAC)
Supports students and families connected to sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression, and advises on inclusive policies and practices. 

Hmong Parent Advisory Council (Hmong PAC)
Represents Hmong students and families and provides guidance on language access, cultural needs, and family engagement. 

Karen Parent Advisory Council (Karen PAC)
Supports Karen students and families by advising on culturally responsive services, language access, and educational equity. 

Latino Consent Decree Parent Advisory Council (LCDPAC)
Represents Latino students and families and advises on commitments related to the Latino Consent Decree, including student achievement and family engagement.

Parents of African American Students Advisory Council (PAASAC)
Advocates for African American students and families by advising the district on equity, achievement, and culturally relevant supports.

Somali Parent Advisory Council (Somali PAC)
Serves Somali students and families, providing input on language access, family engagement, and culturally responsive practices. [spps.org]

Special Education Advisory Council (SEAC)
Represents families of students receiving special education services and advises on policies, services, and inclusive practices. 🌐
