Material and System Standards
The following material standards represent Saint Paul Public Schools’ design intent for construction, and provide a framework for consistent quality throughout the district. The standards are to be used as a primary reference for Architects, Engineers, and other design professionals in developing the final Contract Documents. They undergo periodic review and are updated as required. Note that not all divisions may be included herein.
These standards do not prohibit the use of alternate systems or materials, provided district representatives have reviewed and approved the proposed alternatives. Certain systems require district-wide consistency and are noted as standards with no substitutions allowed. If questions arise, please contact the Facility Planning office at 651-744-1800.
