Register now for Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day on November 14!

Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day celebrates a civil rights icon and encourages students to see themselves as change makers who can to stand up to racism and bullying. The event started with a small group of students in California and has spread nationwide!

Save the dates for the remaining events for this school year:

  • November 14: Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day
  • February 4, 2026: Minnesota Winter Walk to School Day
  • May 6, 2026: Walk, Bike, and Roll to School Day/ National Bike to School Day

The official dates are on Wednesdays (with the exception of Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day), but schools should pick dates that work well for them anytime during the month of the event.
