Fresh Fruit & Vegetables Program (FFVP)
FFVP is a grant funded by the United States Department of Agriculture to provide a fresh fruit or vegetable snack to qualifying elementary schools. SPPS’s FFVP goals are to:
- Provide elementary students with an extra serving of fresh fruit or vegetables outside regular meal times.
- Introduce and encourage them to try a variety of fruit and vegetables.
