The Grow Our Own Internship provides students a paid work experience in support of school gardening across the District, and is a collaboration between Nutrition Services and Agriculture Education at SPPS.

How do students apply?
SPPS students reach out to their Agriculture Education Instructor or Nutrition Services (below) about their interest in the summer internship.
Students are hired through the City of Saint Paul's Right Track youth employment program.
Below is the general timeline
- February – Students fill out Online Right Track application
- March – Students interview with Right Track
- April – Students are placed in the internship
- May – Students submit Human Resource paperwork
- June-August – Participate in summer internship (8-10 weeks)
