What's Changing?

• Reduced number of questions overall (there are 44 fewer questions, to be exact)
• Reduced test length
• Students get more time per question
• Reduced number of answer choices in the math questions from 5 to 4
• Only need to take the English, Math and Reading tests to receive a Composite score
  • SPPS is still offering the Science test

What's Not Changing?

• The ACT scale will remain 1-36 with no changes to ACT benchmarks
• Scores from tests taken prior to the rollout of the new Composite score will not change
• No impact on Predicting First-Year College Success
