Technology is an integral part of classroom instruction, business operations, and communication within Saint Paul Public Schools. Teams of trained and certified field technicians, network technicians, and instructional support specialists to manage and support key areas of work throughout the district including: Google Workspace, Microsoft Office 365 ; internet and networks; printers, cloud faxing, and phones; Infinite Campus, Schoology and Seesaw and instructional and technical support for all devices.
Saint Paul Public Schools has one of the largest and longstanding 1:1 iPad device initiatives in the midwest area, with nearly 40,000 iPads for students and staff and over 4,000 Macbooks for instructional staff.
84% of SPPS secondary students believe the way SPPS teachers use iPads help them learn better, and iPads are "useful" or "very useful" for homework, written assignments, research and other classroom activities.
