Seesaw Pioneer  (Course #: 52468)

This course is for educators who have already completed the Seesaw Getting Started and Deepen Learning course and are ready to join a community of educators who use Seesaw.  Completing this course will give you access to a professional learning network of expert educators that will inspire you to learn and grow, as well as connect to stay in the loop about all things Seesaw.

Participants who complete this course earn a digital certificate and 1 clock hour.

Schoology Onboarding (Course #: 53784)

This course is designed for educators new to Schoology in SPPS. It covers basic skills like creating and logging into your account, customizing your settings and notifications, and navigating the LMS components. 

This course also provides strategies for setting up your courses based on best practices in instructional design and SPPS expectations. Finally, this course provides guidance on grade book setup, designing assessments and providing feedback to students.

Participants who complete this course earn 2.5 clock hours.

Generative AI for Educators  (Course #: 53540)

This course explores the transformative potential of generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools in education, focusing on practical applications for K12 educators. Google Gemini & Notebook LM  (Course #: 53553)

This practical course introduces SPPS educators to the power of AI tools included in our district's Google Workspace for Education subscription. Participants will explore how AI tools, including Google Gemini and NotebookLM, can analyze learning materials, generate summaries, create different formats of content, and more! Additionally, participants will discover practical strategies using Gemini for accommodating diverse learning preferences and modifying materials to suit individual student needs.

Canva AI Tools  (Course #: 53554)

This course explores the innovative ways that Canva's AI-powered tools can enhance teaching and learning. Participants will learn how to generate engaging visuals, streamline lesson planning, create accessible materials, and foster student creativity. Participants will gain hands-on experience with tools like Magic Write, Magic Design, and Magic Animate, and explore how these features can be used to personalize instruction and create a more inclusive learning environment.

Canva Certified Teacher (Course #: 53127)

This self-paced course, facilitated by the Canva Design School, will equip K-12 educators with the essential skills needed to facilitate engaging learning with Canva. Educators will learn about key Canva for Education features including: Lesson planning, creativity, student engagement, and the Canva Magic Studio. Within each topic, educators will have the opportunity to practice their learning and discover additional resources.
