Saint Paul School Patrol Program
Saint Paul School Patrol Program
The Saint Paul School Police Patrol Program, which was founded in 1920, is active in all Saint Paul public elementary schools and in most charter and non-public schools. The School Patrol Program is designed to assist students who are not eligible for school district-provided transportation service as they travel to and from school by controlling traffic as students cross streets with significant traffic volume.
The School Patrol Program is a voluntary action on the part of the school and the school district. The primary responsibility for supervising students who are not eligible for school district-provided transportation services remains with the parent or guardian. For information on the School Patrol crossings, please contact the School Patrol Supervisor or Principal of your child's school.
