Setting Up Email

Open Self Service
Search SPPS EMAIL and install the app Wait. Can take up to 5 minutes
Once downloaded, open Mail app and type in your school password NOTE: Do not use personal email
Tap on Inbox to view your emails

My iPad keyboard isn't working

Checking Storage on Your iPad

Open Settings app

Tap General, then iPad Storage

The overview at the top shows you how much space you have left and what is taking up space.

If you have a lot of photos or music saved, delete some to free up space.

If it is not photos or music, look at the app list and see what apps might be taking up space and consider deleting them.

LOGGING IN TO GOOGLE APPS ON IPAD

Open any Google app
Tap Sign in in the lower left corner
Type in your email _________@stpaul.k12.mn.us, then click Next. If you don’t know your email, ask your teacher.
Enter your s# and school password and click Sign in If you don’t know your password, ask your teacher

Google Slides won't let me type

Can't open doc shared with me

Make sure you are not logged in to your personal google account. Click on your profile picture in top right hand corner. Make sure the email is your school one and ends with @stpaul.k12.mn.us
If it is your personal one, click Add another account and follow directions for logging in to google apps on your iPad.

PHOTOS WON'T UPLOAD

Schoology log in problem: Stuck in Canada

If you are logging in and see the Canadian maple leaf flag at the bottom, you need to fix this to be able to log in.
Click next to the Canadian Flag on "I sign in to app.schoology.ca" and it will switch back.
You can now sign as as usual, click here for instructions if you are unsure how.

Recording Audio with in Notability

Open Notability and choose a note to add audio to
Tap Microphone image to start recording
Tap the Stop image to stop recording
If your microphone is not working, check the app permissions in the Settings App. In the Settings app, search for microphone and make sure Notability is switched on.

Open Settings app
Type Camera in the search bar on the top left and tap on Camera.
Tap on Formats on the right
Under CAMERA CAPTURE, make sure Most Compatible is checked

First, make sure you are logged in to iCloud. Open the Settings app, then look for your name.
Open Notability and tap on the settings gear.
Tap on iCloud in the menu
Tap and drag the switch to the on position. It will turn blue when on.

Tap Options
Tap Disconnect Stylus icon
Tap Disconnect
Options menu look different? Reinstall Notability from Self Service.

In Safari, tap on the button to open the left menu.
If Private is selected, click above it to switch to normal browsing

Make sure caps lock is not turned on
Hard restart iPad by holding the home and power button down until you see the apple logo
Ask your teacher to reset your password

Open Self-Service
Search for Slides and tap Reinstall
Reopen slides and try again
