SPPS Summer Reading Fest
Join us for Saint Paul Public Schools’ Summer Reading Fest and get ready to read all summer long! Students and families can add to their home libraries by choosing from hundreds of free books for all ages.
Date & Location:
- Saturday, May 18, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
- Location: Benjamin E. Mays IB World School, 560 Rondo Ave. (Concordia Ave.)
- The event will be held in the atrium. Enter through door "A".
- Interpreters will be available in Spanish, Hmong, Somali and Karen
Event Details:
- Hundreds of free books for all ages
- Storytime and book signings with local children’s authors and illustrators:
- Magdalena Mora will read “The Fish of Small Wishes” at 11:30 a.m.
- Dr. Artika Tyner will read “Justice Makes a Difference“ at noon
- Free snacks from the SPPS Food Truck
- Kids’ activities
