• Staying home when you are sick is one of our best ways to fight COVID-19. Keeping sick children and children who are exposed to COVID-19 away from others helps stop the spread of the virus to other children, staff, and the surrounding community. It takes all of us working in partnership to reduce the risks and slow the spread of Covid-19 to promote a safe and healthy school environment.
The four most important things families can do to help stop the spread of Coronavirus:
1.Make it a practice for family members to self-screen every morning and monitor their health
throughout the day for potential Covid-19 symptoms
2.Keep your child home when they're feeling sick
3.Encourage your child to frequently wash hands throughout the day
4.Wear a protective face covering and practice physical distancing outside the home (at least 6ft. from the next person)
Click on the red button: SPPS Covid-19 reporting system--located on the school and district homepages-- to report concerns if your child has symptoms of Covid-19, tests positive for Covid-19, or if your child was in close contact with or was exposed to someone with Covid-19.
SPPS Licensed School Nurses designated as COVID Leads are also available for consult:
    • Mondays-Thursdays, 7:00AM-6:00PM
    • Fridays, 7:00AM-4:30PM

They can be reached via email at covid19@spps.org.

There is also a Parent Help Line at 651-767-8347 for parents or guardians needing assistance with the online reporting system; interpreters are available.

Welcome to Cherokee Heights Montessori!

  • Guiding and Growing Greatness

As the West Side’s Montessori school, Cherokee Heights is dedicated to guiding and growing greatness in our children.

In our Montessori classrooms, each child makes decisions about their learning based upon their individual strengths, likes, and learning styles.

Through multi-grade classrooms, students develop relationships with the same teacher and classmates over a two- or three-year period. All-day Pre-K is available to help prepare students for kindergarten at an early age. Learn more...
