Hello, my name is Matt Smith and I teach 5th grade at Wellstone. I am from St. Paul, Minnesota. I have worked at Wellstone for 10 years. Before that, I taught 6th grade at Cherokee Heights and Roosevelt Elementary, also in Saint Paul Public Schools. I graduated from St. John's University with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Communication. I received my Master's degree from St. Mary's University in Education. In my free time, I like to hike, fish, and camp. I am excited to work with your student this year at Wellstone!
