Another wonderful week has come and gone. We had an amazing 2nd week of school. We met in small check in groups (each child is assigned a specific day at 1:40) to check in with either Ms. B or myself to make sure school is going well and if they have any questions. These days and times will stay the same as long as we are in Distance Learning. It was great meeting in small groups with everyone.

Schedule for next week synchronous times: Check Schoology for GoogleMeet codes

    9:30 Morning Meeting

    10:20 Music with Ms. Kroetsch

11:15 - Reading Groups -- Bring your favorite book to share, the schedule for this is found in Updates on Schoology.

1:20 - Small Group Check Ins -- Schedule for this is on Schoology folder Small Group Check Ins (if you do not see a folder, that means they are not meeting in small groups that day)

Any questions please email me anytime.

    Happy Friday!

What a great first week of Distance Learning school. It was wonderful to see and meet all my new students and families. Here is the start of many greats this week:

    - We had a great first week of Morning Meetings. We will continue with synchronous Morning Meetings at 9:30.

    - We had some great discussions about reading, math and ourselves

    - We had some great Office hour discussions about how to turn in assignments and logging into FlipGrid

    - We had a great first week of 4th grade doing Distance Learning

What to look forward to next week:

Families -- you can log into Schoology to see your child's schoolwork on Schoology with your Parent login information. This is the same username and password you would use to login for attendance and iUpdates. If you do not remember your username/password, please click on the iUpdate icon on the side bar to reset your username/password. Click on this SPPS Parent Schoology link to find out more about how to use Schoology as a parent.

    - We will start this week's small groups with FAST assessments. Students will take their reading and math assessments next week on their iPads. Students will take their assessment in small groups with either Ms. B or Ms. J. We will start with Reading and then move into Math.

    - Ms. B. and I are going to have Small Group Check ins with students. Students will be assigned a day and will stay on that day at 1:40 - 2:00 as long as we do Distance Learning. This time will be for us to just make sure things are going well for students (finding assignments, checking grades/feedback, turning in assignments, etc.). This will also be posted in Schoology for students to see.

Please let me know if you have any questions. You can reach me either through email at or through Remind.
