It’s going to be a gouda year in fourth grade! (That fits my Cheesehead profile!)
I’m Mrs. Pratt and this is my eleventh year teaching fourth grade at St. Anthony but I am starting my 24th year in the District! Boy, time flies!
I live in the Como Park neighborhood with my husband, David, and our three children. Will is 23 and lives in New York City, pursuing his dream of being an actor. James is 19, graduated from Central High School last year and will start his second year at Columbia College Chicago, majoring in Comedy Writing and Performance. My daughter, Eva, will be 17 and is starting 11th grade at Central High School and taking some PSEO classes as well. We also have an eleven-year-old Welsh Terrier named Ringo.
I've spent the summer cooking (I love to cook!), relaxing on my patio, and waiting patiently for our new hot tub to be put in and be functional. I’m still waiting patiently!

Hello, everyone! My name is Nikki Boxer and I will be working with Mrs. Pratt this year as her student teacher. I am from the Northern suburbs of Chicago, but the Twin Cities feel like home as I recently graduated from the University of Minnesota last spring. I spent my summer at Banner Day Camp with a group of 18 special second graders. We spent our days outside playing sports, doing STEAM activities, and becoming a family. I love to spend my free time outside, dancing, and working with the Special Olympics. I am looking forward to learning from you all this year!
