Volunteers
A variety of volunteer opportunities are available at the Hubbs Center and Eastside Learning Hub@Harding.
Daytime and evening opportunities are available Monday - Thursday.
Times: Mondays - Thursdays arranged between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
Outreach and Family Literacy sites (in collaboration with St. Paul ECFE) in the community are also available.

Qualifications:
Dependable and prompt, interested in others, able to relate to learners with a wide range of abilities. Respectful of confidentiality, literate in English, flexible, friendly, patient, optimistic. Especially good for English or math majors, or people interested in other cultures and teaching, but open to anyone with the above qualifications.
Commitment Required:
1-3 hours a week, for 6 months or one semester

If you are interested in volunteering at the Hubbs Center please follow these steps:
1. Fill out Volunteer Application online.
2. Sign-up for, and attend volunteer orientation at Hubbs Center
3. Complete Background Check Form and bring to orientation.
4. Sign-up for, and complete Literacy Minnesota Training (More information about this is given at the orientation, too)
