About Ms. Courtright:
She graduated from UW-River Falls with a degree in Elementary Education and went on to St. Mary's University to attain her Master's degree in Teaching and Learning. She has taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 6th grades. She is trained in Reading Recovery and is currently an L.L.I. teacher assisting students with reading, writing, and oral language.
She enjoys reading, traveling, baking, eating chocolate, spending time with family and friends, laughing, trying new food, photography, and going for walks.
She was born in a small town in California and lives in St. Paul. She has one brother and grew up in a single-parent family with her Mom. Her Mom's first language is German and as a little girl, Ms. Courtright heard this language growing up. She attended St. Paul Public Schools.
Ms. Courtright loves her job at Vento and is very passionate about helping students learn to read and write well.
