Hamline is a Full-Service Community School
In late 2016, Hamline Elementary took its first step to becoming a full-service community school by applying for, and receiving, a grant from the Minnesota Department of Education. The grant award allowed us to hire a community resource coordinator who oversaw the creation of a Family Resource Room, developed meaningful community partnerships, and connected families to needed resources. We continue to build on this work and every day we are increasing our capacity to support Hamline Elementary students and their families and in the process we are creating a more connected community.
