Different Types of College Credit Earning Opportunities
Articulated course- A course that holds an agreement, with a post-secondary institution, that gives students the opportunity to receive full or partial college credit when they enroll at that institution. A tuition reduction may be applied for partial credit agreements.
Concurrent course-A course taught by a credentialed high school teacher and recorded on a college transcript.
Advanced Placement (AP)/International Baccalaureate (IB)/College Level Examination Program(CLEP)- Programs that give students an opportunity to qualify for college credit based on a test and meeting the receiving institution’s requirements.
