2019 S-Term Information for Non-SPPS Students
Saint Paul Public Schools and the City of Saint Paul are proud to offer a variety of programs during summer.
This is an important time when students can lose information they learned during the school year. We offer a variety of school-based programs, both academic and fun, as well as a variety of camps and other activities. Credit recovery classes toward high school graduation are also available.
Our partners offer even more great opportunities. We know you will find something to engage you in learning!
Summer Term Dates 2019
Session 1: June 17 – July 11 (No school Thursday, July 4)
Session 2: July 15 – August 8
CDF Freedom Schools, Hmong Karen Youth Pride (HKYP) & BELL Power Scholars: June 17 - July 26
This a list of times and locations of S-Term sites for elementary, middle and high schools. The list also includes Digital Credit Recovery and CDF Freedom School sites. Sites are listed by grade levels for a student's current grade.
Students currently in grades K-11 can participate in sports, arts, environmental and cultural programs with other students from across the metro area. These summer programs are offered at no cost to students.
Students in grades 9-12 who are behind by six or fewer credits can register for S-Term 1 OR S-Term 2 through their regular school counselor. Students in grades 9-12 who are behind by more than six credits should attend BOTH S-Term 1 AND S-Term 2. There are both options to learn in the traditional classroom and with a blended format (digital curriculum with class meetings twice a week).
If you have completed course work (seat based or online) and need to have your transcript sent to a Non-SPPS school for high school credit, please complete the consent form above and send it to the Student Records at the Student Placement Center.
S-Term transcripts are issued through Student Records at the Student Placement Center by request only.
Note: The $5 transcript fee is waived for students attending S-Term.
