Lindsey Jackson began teaching Special Education at Dayton's Bluff Achievement Plus Elementary in 2016. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education (K-6) with a middle level Social studies (5-8) from Bethel University. She also has a Masters of Arts in Special Education (K-12) from Bethel University. Lindsey has taught 2nd and 5th grade as a general education teacher. She has also taught in multiple levels of special education as well as worked as a co-teacher in a second-grade classroom. 

Lindsey is married and has two dogs and spends time with her family. Lindsey loves to spend time outside no matter the weather. In the winter she snowmobiles and, in the summer, she likes reading in the sunshine. 

Lindsey has livedin Minnesota her entire life. She has many cousins and continues to stay in contact with them as well as spending time with her parents, as well as her older brothers. 

Lindsey is passionate about incorporating the needs of unique learners into all areas of education. She believes that meeting the individualized needs of students is the best way to educate each of them.

In my classroom we focus on how all feelings are okay and vaild. As students experience different emotions they learn the expected reaction to their feelings and how to cope with those feelings. They are called our tools in our toolbox.
