Welcome to the Washington Technology Magnet School Library!
The Washington Tech Library is an active library with an open-door policy. We believe that information literacy and research strategies are best taught within the context of the class assignment. The library team assists teachers and students with reference needs from planning technology use to class projects to research needs. The library media specialist instructs classes on good resources, works with students individually, and plans units with teachers that use the most recent technology and text resources.
Our library vision is to promote an appreciation of reading and ensure that all students acquire the information literacy skills needed to become empathetic, critically thinking global citizens.
We are open Monday-Friday from 7:15 to 3:00. At 3:00, we offer an after-school tutoring program.
