Hello Dayton's Bluff families!  My name is Nenah Howard and I am very excited to be teaching your children this year!  I have come to Dayton's Bluff from Bruce Vento Elementary where I have taught second, third, and fourth grades.  I also spent a year as a literacy specialist where I supported students with their phonics and reading needs.

I graduated from Metropolitan State University with a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education. In 2021 graduated from Concordia University with my master's degree in literacy curriculum and instruction.  I also received a reading endorsement with my master's degree which means I am also licensed to teach reading from kindergarten-12th grade.  I love reading and with my college focus I have learned a lot about the best ways to teach your children to read!

I have a daughter who is in middle school who I love to spend time with.  I also enjoy spending time at the lake when it's nice, shopping trips to Target, and baking.  I look forward to getting to know all of the DB students and their families!  Feel free to contact me with any questions.
