  • SPPS is developing a new strategic plan that will set goals for student achievement and guide decision-making. A review of past surveys, reports and student data, along with input from our community, will be used throughout the planning process to create the plan and implement initiatives to build a stronger SPPS.

    For the last 10 months, Saint Paul Public Schools has been developing a strategic plan to improve student achievement and guide decision-making. The purpose of a strategic plan is to focus on goals and align resources to meet them. Throughout the summer, teams have been creating action plans to guide development and implementation of the plan.

  • Strategic Planning Initiatives Announced

    June 20, 2018
    Superintendent Joe Gothard shared the District’s newly created strategic initiatives at a Board of Education meeting earlier this week. Strategic initiatives are the components of the new strategic plan that identify the work we must do to make a difference in student learning and achievement.
