Dr. Diana van Deusen

Diana van Deusen is an audiologist in the St. Paul Public Schools, providing consultation for 120 deaf and hard of hearing students, aged 3 through 21 years. Diana received her Bachelor’s Degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences and her Master’s Degree in Audiology both from the University of Iowa, and her Doctor of Audiology from A.T. Still University.

Before coming to St. Paul Schools in 2002, Diana served on the faculty at the University of Minnesota for fifteen years, where she taught courses in Audiology, Sign Language and Counseling, and supervised graduate students in clinic. Diana still enjoys supervising, and frequently has a student intern learning the ropes of educational audiology.

Diana is a proud recipient of the Honors of the Minnesota Speech Language Hearing Association for outstanding service and leadership, and a High Five Award from Minnesota Hands and Voices, in recognition of her significant contributions to families with deaf or hard of hearing children.

In her spare time, Diana enjoys singing with her quartet, Heartfelt, and taking her granddaughters down to Lake Harriet to take pictures of the ducks.
