My name is Aleah Holden and this is my fifth year teaching at Barack and Michelle Obama Elementary. I spent three years teaching third grade, and this is my second year teaching science. 

I graduated with my bachelors degree in Elementary Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I also have a Masters degree in Mathematics from UNL and a Masters in History from Wesleyan University. 

When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading books and spending time at home with my husband and our cats.

I look forward to working with all of our students this year and exploring all of the amazing new science topics we get to learn about.
