My name is Michelle Storvick and I am the Parent Educator and FACS (Family and Consumer Sciences) teacher at AGAPE High School.  I am a mom of three adult children.  I have been working with children of all ages and teaching teens to adults for 30+ years. 

*In the Teen Parenting Journey class, we discuss teen pregnancy and how to care for an infant to a school age child. 

*In the Child Development class, we study the field of child development where it began and the research about how children grow and develop. 

*In the Practical Parenting class, we look at issues that affect teen mothers like income, school and college classes, time management, and healthy relationships between partners and their children.  Also, the Practical Parenting class runs the school store.   

*In the Culinary Arts class, we learn about nutrition, creating a budget for food, healthy meal plans, and kitchen and cooking safety.
