Ms. Clickenger

My name is Anna Clickenger. I am so excited to begin my teaching career at Galtier. I am looking forward to bringing creative energy to the personalized learning goals of my students. I grew up in Columbus, Ohio and attended Muskingum University for my bachelors degree in Theater and Earth Science. After graduating in 2009, I moved to the Twin Cities to pursue a career as a props designer but soon fell in love with teaching. In 2017 I received my teaching license through Augsburg College as a Masters of Arts Education student.

I currently live in Roseville, Minnesota with my 2 year old cat, named Millie. I love to cook and bake, paint and draw, and spend time with friends going to festivals, trivia events and hosting themed events, most recently a Superhero Extravaganza. I also love to travel! Last year I had the opportunity to go to Alaska and had an amazing time observing all kinds of wildlife, like grizzly bears and whales.

I began working with Discovery Club and as a TA in Saint Paul Public Schools in 2015. In 2016 I did my student teaching at Randolph Heights in a personalized learning focused classroom. For the last year and a half I have substitute taught throughout the Saint Paul Public School district. I am looking forward to bringing all I have experienced, in these different teaching roles, to the 3rd grade classroom!
