About Me

I grew up near Minneapolis and I then attended the University of Minnesota and graduated with a B.A. in Japanese. I later returned to the U and went on to earn my ESL teaching license and an M.Ed. in Second Languages and Cultures Education. This is my 12th year teaching EL in Twin Cities area schools. I also taught English for two years in Japan and for two years in Belgium.

When I am not teaching, I love to play violin, sew, read, travel, and spend time with my friends and family.
