Melissa Persson

Ms. Persson began at Como Park High School and in St. Paul Public Schools the 2018-2919 school year.   She has teaching licenses in ELL, Reading and Work Based Learning. She has taught ELL with a heavy emphasis on literacy development for the past 11 years.  Currently, Ms. Persson is teaching, College and Career and Career Reading 11-12, Content Acceleration 9 and co-teaching in 9th Grade World History classes supporting reading development.  

Mrs. Persson’s enjoys traveling and experiencing different cultures with her family.  She has lived in both Austria and Sweden and has visited many countries. She also spends a lot of time watching soccer games and gardening.  

Ms.Persson lives in St. Paul and is proud to work in her neighborhood.  She loves teaching and learning from her students every day!
