Mrs. Kari Bronson
Greetings. I began teaching at Ramsey Middle School in November 2018. I am excited to be a part of this school and the IB MYP success that the staff and curriculum inspire in students. I have a BA in English Education from The University of Mary in Bismarck, ND and a MA in English from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ as well as additional education credits from Hamline University in Saint Paul, MN. I have taught many levels of students and learners, including junior high school, high school and college.
When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I am also involved with Eagle Brook Church and care ministries. Since I don't have cable TV, I enjoy reading a great deal and spending time outdoors when it isn't -50 degrees. I play on two softball teams in the summer and fall as well. The picture features some of the kids I taught in Haiti and me.
I live in Circle Pines so I can be close to my nephew who is a student in the Centennial School District. I grew up on a small farm outside of Barnesville, MN and have 3 sisters, a brother and 9 nieces and nephews.
I am proud to be a teacher at Ramsey Middle School. The students are fantastic young scholars. The other teachers and administrators are passionate, caring and determined to make a difference not only in the lives of our students but our community as well.
"Everyone who remembers his/her own education remembers teachers, not methods and techniques. The teacher is the heart of the educational system." - Sidney Hook (author, philosopher)
