Hi! I'm Nikki Schilling and I've been teaching in Saint Paul for the past 15 years. I am also a proud product of Saint Paul Public Schools. Starting out at J.J. Hill Montissori to graduating from Humboldt High School (Class of 2003). I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Saint Catherine's University and also have a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University of Portland. I have taught at several great schools in Saint Paul, which includes most recently Four Seasons A+ Elementary for seven years.
This is my fourth year as the Learning Lead for Bruce F. Vento. I'm glad to be a part of this community. Much like the coaches in the district, I work with teachers and students in the classrooms and facilitate professional development that aligns to our school vision and the district's initiatives.
During my downtime, I enjoy hanging out with my dogs, Candy and LaLa. They keep me active because they are not like other dogs who like playing fetch. We go on many adventures together. I also like camping up north and seeing animals and plants that aren't in the Twin Cities. And if I'm not doing those things, I like playing soccer whether it's a quick pick up game or a competitive game.
