Welcome families and students. My name is Natalie Henao (she/her), and this is my fourth year teaching second grade at Global Arts Plus. Prior to teaching second grade, I was a TA at GAP and taught Middle School science in Newark, NJ. I live here in Saint Paul with my husband and son. My passions growing up were science and music; I even studied Geoscience for my undergraduate degree!  I love that I get to mesh my love for our content areas, like science and social studies, with the arts through our thematic units. As we start our school year back in person, I look forward to getting to know my students through targeted small group math and reading instruction.
